フランス.パリの釣り少年
この日はフランスのパリから来た7歳の釣り少年、アトラスくんを湖の釣りにご案内しました。彼は年齢を感じさせないほどの情熱を持ち、私の釣り道具や仕掛けに対して質問をたくさんしてきました。私も彼に対して、魚の行動パターンや食性、魚種ごとの釣り分けについてお話しました。アトラスくんの釣りに対する真剣な姿勢には驚かされました。そして彼にフライフィッシングのワールドカップやフランスチームの技術の高さについて話し、彼がいつかそのチームで活躍することを期待しています。お母様からあと15分で切り上げましょうという提案があった中、アトラスくんは最後の一投でその日最大の53センチの野コイを見事に釣り上げました。その達成感に満ちた表情はとても印象的でした。彼が将来どのように成長するのか今から楽しみです。
On this day, I guided a seven-year-old fishing boy named Atlas, who came from Paris, France, to fish at the lake. He showed a passion that belied his age and asked me many questions about my fishing gear and tackle. I also talked to him about fish behavior patterns, feeding habits, and how to target different species. I was amazed at Atlas's serious attitude towards fishing. I then told him about the Fly Fishing World Cup and the high skill level of the French team, and I hope that one day he will play an active role on that team. While his mother suggested that we wrap up in 15 minutes, Atlas made his last cast and brilliantly caught a 53 cm wild carp, the biggest of the day. The look of accomplishment on his face was very impressive. I am already looking forward to seeing how he will grow in the future.
