特別な日を振り返ります。

今日はオーストラリアからお越しのアンドリューさんとドナさんとご一緒できました。彼らは冒険心旺盛で、新しい挑戦を楽しみにしていました。私が推奨したのは、日本独特のテンカラ釣りです。

アンドリューさんとドナさんは、テンカラ竿の使い方をすぐにマスターし、狙い通りアマゴとイワナを見事釣り上げました。特に夕方、水生昆虫の動きが活発になる瞬間を逃さずに釣り上げる姿は圧巻でした。

ユニークな瞬間に溢れた一日でしたが、ドナさんは虫が苦手なようで、虫を見つけた時の表情がとても印象的でした。

こんな感動的な経験を、一緒に共有できたことを嬉しく思います。

また新たな冒険をお楽しみに！

Looking back on a special day.

Today, I had the pleasure of spending time with Andrew and Donna, who came all the way from Australia. They both have a strong spirit of adventure and were looking forward to new challenges. What I recommended to them was tenkara fishing, a style unique to Japan.

Andrew and Donna quickly mastered how to use the tenkara rod and, just as planned, skillfully caught both amago and iwana fish. Especially in the evening, watching them seize the moment when the aquatic insects became active and skillfully reel in their catch was truly impressive.

It was a day full of unique moments, but it seems that Donna is not fond of insects; her expression upon spotting one was quite memorable.

I am delighted that we could share such a moving experience together.
