街の暑さを逃れて、今日は涼しい山でテンカラ釣りを楽しみました。アメリカから来てくれたルイさんと一緒に川へ出かけましたが、奥様のエリーさんは体調が優れずお留守番。それでも彼女の分まで楽しむ決意で初テンカラに挑戦。

最初は道具に手こずったルイさん。でも次第にコツを掴んで、最後にはきちんとイワナをゲット！その満足そうな姿が、まるでプロみたいでした。

山の清流の音とルイさんの笑顔が何よりの思い出。次回はぜひエリーさんも一緒に、山の夏を満喫しましょう！

I experienced the magic of the mountains!

Escaping the city heat, I enjoyed tenkara fishing today in the cool mountains. I went to the river with Louie, who came from America, but his wife, Ellie, wasn’t feeling well and stayed behind. Still, determined to enjoy it for her sake as well, we tried tenkara fishing for the first time.

At first, Louie struggled with the equipment. But gradually, he got the hang of it, and in the end, he managed to catch an Iwana! He looked so satisfied—just like a pro.

The sound of the mountain stream and Louie's smile were the best memories. Next time, let’s be sure to enjoy the summer in the mountains together with Ellie too!
