ドイツから一人旅で訪れたマックスさんと一緒に、日本の渓流でフライフィッシングに挑戦しました。暑い日差しを忘れるほどの爽やかな体験を求めて、少し冒険へ。ですが、その日のコンディションは一筋縄ではいかず、高水温と渇水の影響で厳しい戦いに。

それでも、イワナが水中を静かに泳ぐ優雅な姿や、水面での餌待ちの姿を間近で観察できたのは素敵なひとときでした。キャッチこそできませんでしたが、その瞬間も釣りの楽しみの一部として心に残るもの。

自然と向き合うこの体験が、釣りの奥深さを教えてくれました。マックスさん、またぜひ一緒に竿を振りましょう。

It is a special day to enjoy summer.

Together with Max, who visited from Germany on a solo trip, we took on the challenge of fly fishing in a Japanese mountain stream. Seeking a refreshing experience that made us forget the hot sunshine, we set off on a bit of an adventure. However, the conditions that day weren’t simple—in fact, it was a tough battle due to high water temperatures and low water levels.

Even so, being able to closely observe the elegant figure of the iwana swimming quietly underwater, and watching as it waited for food at the water's surface, made for a wonderful moment. Although we weren't able to catch any, even those moments stayed in our hearts as part of the joy of fishing.

This experience of facing nature taught us the depths of fishing. Max, let’s cast our lines together again sometime.
